You’ll start as an Associate Recruitment Consultant, with full access to our ROCKET training program — designed to get you up and running fast, no experience required.

From there, you’ll progress to Senior Consultant and then Principal Consultant, where you’ll start to own your market and build your reputation.

At that point, you choose your path:

  • Management Track – Lead and grow your own team.
  • Market Specialist Track – Stay hands-on and become the expert in your niche.

Director of Talent - New York

Elle Baker

Elle leads hiring for Levin’s New York office, focused on finding, onboarding, and empowering the next generation of high performers. From first conversation to first day, her mission is to set people up to succeed - and to build teams that reflect the ambition, energy, and attitude of Levin NYC.

She’s known internally for working hand-in-hand with sales leaders across all brands, hiring people who not only fit our culture, but raise the bar for it. Elle joined Levin in London as an Associate herself in 2020 and moved into Talent Acquisition in 2021, quickly becoming a key part of the company’s global growth. After hitting a major career milestone, she relocated back to the US in 2023 - a personal and professional highlight - and has since hired hundreds of top performers across the business. Elle also leads our internal ERG, Parity - connecting the women of Levin and giving them the support to go the distance in Recruitment.

What keeps her here? Seeing the opportunities she once chased now come to life for others. Because for Elle, it’s not just about filling roles, it’s about building careers.

When she’s not recruiting? You’ll find her playing pickleball, sipping an iced coffee in the sun, or road-tripping her way through another US state.

Each consultant at Levin joins one of our specialist brands — Storm2, Storm3, or Storm4 — and becomes an expert in a specific tech sector. Our brands don’t compete with each other, which means you own your market, build deep industry knowledge, and become the go-to recruiter in your space. You grow with your brand — and your brand grows with you.

What’s the commission structure?

We offer an uncapped commission structure with clear, performance-based tiers that scale with your seniority. The more impact you make, the more you earn — it’s that simple. Our top performers typically earn $60k–$75k in commission in their first year alone, with earnings growing significantly as you progress.

Can I relocate to NYC?

Yes — and many have. We support high performers who want to take their careers stateside. If you’re consistently delivering, showing leadership potential, and ready for the challenge, relocation to our New York office is absolutely on the table.

How is recruitment different from sales?

Recruitment is sales — but with people at the center. Instead of selling a product, you’re building relationships, understanding business needs, and matching exceptional talent with high-growth tech companies.
